PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which can simplify the operability of a user and which can improve immediateness and to provide a communication terminal and an electronic mail device. SOLUTION: A fixed terminal 1 monitors whether an electronic mail addressed to it itself exists in a server 7 or not at every prescribed time. When the electronic mail exists, the electronic mail is received and a terminal presence/absence recognition request is transmitted to a charger 3. When the charger 3 receives the terminal presence/absence recognition request, it recognizes whether a portable terminal 2 is loaded on the charger 3 or not and transmits information to the fixed terminal 1 as terminal presence/absence information. When the portable information terminal 2 is loaded on the charger 3 in accordance with terminal presence/absence information, the fixed terminal 1 judges that the user is near the fixed terminal 1 and it does not execute anything. When the portable terminal 2 is loaded on the charger 3, the fixed terminal 1 judges that the user does not exist near the fixed terminal 1, calls the terminal number of the portable information terminal 2 through MODEM 4 and directly transfers the electronic mail which is automatically received in the portable information terminal 2. |
