CABLE-LAYING METHOD AND TRUCK FOR LAYING CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pull out a cable while a drum is placed on a carrying car and to minimize the shielding of a road by the carrying car when leading the cable that is withdrawn from a horizontal drum into a lead-in hole such as a manhole. SOLUTION: A cable 1 that is led out of a drum 6 is led into a lead-in hole such as a manhole by changing a lead-out direction by a cable guide 7. In that case, the cable guide 7 that is installed at a truck 4 is formed in curved shape is moved in the longitudinal direction of the truck along with the lead-out of the cable 1, thus maintaining the lead-out angle of the cable 1 at nearly 90 deg. for the axis of the drum 6. A road that is closed at the time of laying operation, has a space for two tracks required for parking a carrying car 5 of the drum 6 and the truck 4.
