PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for IC card which can prevent the erroneous insertion of IC card in simple configuration without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: A stopper plate 20 branching its free end side into two of the actuator element 21 and the stopper element 22 is held on an insulating case 2 and respective inclined part 212a and top end part 22a are protruded so as to be parallelly arranged inside a card inserting path 8. When an IC card 10 notched at a section corresponding to the protruding position of the top end part 22a of the stopper element 22 is inserted, the inclined part 21a is first abutted and the whole stopper plate 20 is turned back from the card inserting path 8. Therefore, the top end part 22a moves back from the card inserting path 8 as well and the IC card 10 is inserted. Since the IC card 10 not notching any section corresponding to the protruding position of the top end part 22a is abutted to the top end part 22a and is be inserted, the erroneous insertion is prevented. |
