PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free channel allocation method in which a base station allocates effectively a frequency to mobile terminal equipment in a service area. SOLUTION: In a free channel allocation method where a base station allocates a channel with response to a link channel establishment request from mobile terminal equipments, a discrimination level that discriminates use/non-use of a free channel to a proper value higher than a limit level of a ratio of an interference wave level to a signal reception level possible to be detected (DU ratio) is set and in the case of a link channel establishment request from the mobile terminal equipment, a base station executes a carrier sense to measure all the free channels and the signal reception levels and select a free channel whose the level crosses over the discrimination level and is closest to the discrimination level to allocate the free channel as a link channel. |
