PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polymer electrolyte for a rechargeable lithium insertion cell. SOLUTION: In manufacturing a polymer electrolyte, which is a self-contained coating containing dissociable lithium salts dispersed in a polymer matrix comprising a copolymer of vinylidene bifluoride and hexafluoropropylene, and in which a plasticizer is replaced with a solution of dissociable lithium salts in an organic solvent, with the polymer containing 20 to 7wt.% solution of the dissociable lithium salts, a plasticizer that is stable under the electrochemical condition of a lithium insertion cell and selected from a group consisting of hexylene carbonate, octylene carbonate or tributyl phosphate is used. |
