PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting method, which reliably performs maintenance on an attachment/suction nozzle in production of circuit substrates by an electronic-component mounting device, and improves production efficiency. SOLUTION: In production of circuit substrates, in a case where a number of recognition errors occur to an attachment/suction nozzle even though it performs suction appropriately, if a predetermined condition is satisfied, image pickup means for component position recognition is used to obtain the image of the end surface of the nozzle. The obtained image is analyzed, and if it is determined that nozzle cleaning is required, warning is issued to an operator. By this arrangement, loss of component due to recognition error by insufficient cleaning can be prevented. Further, maintenability can be improved. |
