PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display compressed image data that is sent in an irregular transfer rate on a television monitor at a regular frame speed. SOLUTION: This video expanding and reproducing device which shows compressed image data that is received from an asynchronous network in an irregular transfer rate on a television screen in a regular frame speed consists of a buffer 16 which accumulates a network I/F 15 that manages a data transfer protocol and compressed image data that is received from the network I/F 15, an expansion processor 17 which acquires a video signal by performing expansion procession of the compressed image data and a controller 18 which transfer the compressed image data from the buffer to the expansion processor, and the video can be reproduced at a regular frame speed. |
