PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for document processing that enables users to efficiently perform document editing and referring processes. SOLUTION: In a step S701, a command is inputted. The advance to a step S702 when the input is a command for display operation, to a step S703 when an operation command for editing, or a step S704 when a specific document compare command, is made. Further, the advance to a step S705 when the input is an end command for document processing is made. In the step S702, a document specified with a version number and reference time inputted in the step S701 is displayed. In the step S703, the specified document corresponding to the command inputted in the step S701 is edited and displayed. In the step S704, two documents specified by a user before and after the point of time of the reference are compared. In the step S705, the document which is currently referred to before the document process ends is stored as a document at a new point of time of reference in document information with user information by reference points of time. |
