PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an antenna from being interrupted by the hand of a user for the 1/4 wavelength microstrip antenna of a one end short circuit type, to improve the effective gain of the antenna, to reduce the radiation of electromagnetic waves to a head part side and to reduce the influence of scattering and absorption or the like by a human body head part further even when a radio communication equipment is brought closer to the head part in the state of opening a flapper and communication is performed. SOLUTION: A personal handy phone system(PHS) portable slave unit 1 is constituted by openably and closably attaching the flapper 3 to a main body 2. The 1/4 wavelength microstrip antenna 31 of the one end short circuit type is incorporated in the flapper 3. The antenna 31 is arranged so as to turn an open part 31d to a lower side and a short circuit part 31c to an upper side at the time of opening the flapper 3. Also, it is arranged so as to position a ground plate 31a on the front surface side of the flapper 3 and an antenna element 31b on a back surface side at the time of opening the flapper 3. |
