PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility of characters, symbols and the like at night while saving the use of costly luminous paint, by combining luminous paint longer in after glow with fluorescent paint which emits light being excited by light emitted by the luminous paint to form a light emitting means in a display means, on which characters and symbols are carried to identify an information recording medium. SOLUTION: A light emitting part 2 and a part 1 coated with a luminous paint are formed adjacent to each other on a mount part 3 to form a sheet 10 for an information recording medium. The luminous paint to be selected is longer in afterglow with light accumulating effect, for example, Sr4 Al14 O25 : Eu, Dy and SrAl2 O4 : Eu, Dy. The examples of the fluorescent paint are BaMg2 Al16 O27 : Eu<2+> for blue, BaMg2 Al16 O27 : Eu<2+> , Mn<2+> for green and Y2 O2 S: Eu<3+> for red. The mount part 3 herein used is white paper or a resin plate because of its light reflection factor for light. |
