PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely call a slave set from a master set while saving a call tariff in the case that the slave set is within a cordless signal reaching range by allowing the master set to request the calling of a pager through a telephone line to call the slave set indirectly when the slave set is outside of the cordless signal reaching range. SOLUTION: The master set 1 transmits a slave set calling signal by an FSK circuit 4 through a transmission circuit 5 by the operation of extension buttons as a transmission signal A of a 380MHz band. The slave set 2 transmits a signal through an antenna 9 through the use of the transmission signal B of a 254MHz band. As the master set 1 can not receive a call-incoming detection signal from the slave set 2 when the slave set 2 exists outside of the cordless signal reaching range from the master set 1, the master set 1 requests the calling of the pager through the telephone line to transmit the pager signal C of the 380NHz band at this time. The slave set 2 executing a radio calling service contract receives this by a receiving circuit 16.
