<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide internet accessing terminal equipment, in which power on/off of the access terminal equipment and control of a smart card (IC card) or the like are concretely decided. SOLUTION: When a smart card is inserted to a socket 3, information is transmitted to an I/O control #2 via a prescribed port. As a result, a CPU of a smart card control board 2 managing cards starts reading data to be stored on the card. As the data are being read, whether or not the inserted card is normal is checked, and if YES, the CPU of the smart card control board checks whether or not 'a power-on bit of the inserted card' in a status memory that is set to a RAM and manages the inserted card is set to '1'. If the result is YES, whether or not a power supply of the main board is interrupted is checked. If the result is YES, a transistor switch is controlled under the control of an I/O control #1, and a DC voltage applied from a power supply section 4 is fed to a main board 1 via a collector of a transistor(TR).</p> |
