PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with which a state of mounting on the base board of electric appliance can be maintained stably. SOLUTION: A connector body 20A is installed by legs as fixture 22 of a hill 21 consisting of a worked piece formed of a metal plate as the exterior of the connector body 20A and a protruding terminal leg 40 of each contact installed in the connector body 20A on the circuit board 1 of an electric appliance, and the side with socket 21a for a mating connector is left open to outside the electric appliance. In this electric connector, an aid leg 51 is formed from extension pieces 51a extending from part of the hill 21 nearer the socket side for the mating connector than the leg 22 of the hill 21 and fastened to the circuit board 1, whereby a stably mounted state is established. |
