PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the switch or key configuration for an optical reader which can reduce the number of parts and further can be made water-tight. SOLUTION: A 2nd membrane switch 24 for the read switch is integrally connected through a bridge sheet 32 to a 1st membrane switch 20 for forming general-purpose keys. Therefore, one component is enough. Besides, the connection of signal line 37 is made common by one connector sheet 34 even to an internal substrate for signal processing, and assembly work is made efficient as well. Further, a connector member to be attached at the top end of connector sheet 34 or a connector on the side of substrate is reduced as well, and cost down is attained. Besides, since the 2nd membrane switch sheet 24 is also a membrane switch similarly to the 1st membrane switch sheet 20, water-tightness on the main body case of the optical reader is made sufficient. Moreover, conventionally required members for fixture are unnecessitated. |
