PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a manufacture of a sheetlike plate as being capable of easily making electrode material extrusion coating faster and an application layer thinner and uniform and setting operation conditions to improve productivity and working efficiency in manufacturing the sheetlike plate. SOLUTION: In this method, electrode material coating liquid 12 is discharge from an extrusion liquid injector 7 with a slot nozzle 6 to be applied at a given thickness onto a running conductive support 1 wound on a backup roll 2. A depressurizing chamber 11 to put the running support 1 in a depressurized condition at the upstream side from the discharge port of the extrusion liquid injector 7 to its vicinity is provided to apply the coating liquid 12 thereon in the depressurized condition.
