PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent demodulation output by synthesizing outputs from respective paths in accordance with the reception strength of the respective paths in an RAKE system receiving device. SOLUTION: A data combiner 30 synthesizing the demodulation outputs from the respective paths is provided with gain amplifiers 103A, 103B and 103C for setting the weights of the respective paths. Then, the signal strength of the demodulation outputs of the respective paths are detected and the weights as against the respective gain amplifiers 103A, 103B and 103C are set so as to obtain more weights as signal strength becomes larger. Thus, weighting is executed more as the signal strength becomes larger and the demodulation outputs of the respective paths are synthesized so that the influence of the path with small signal strength and with many errors is made not to be easily obtained and the error rate of the synthetic output is improved. |
