PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter connector simply connected with filter elements at a high density to contact terminals, having a very simple structure, and easy to manufacture at a low cost by clamping and electrically connecting the filter elements between the base sections of the contact terminals and the collars or shields of housings. SOLUTION: A plurality of contact terminals 20 having pin sections and pressure connection base section 28 are held in the first and second insulating housings 2, 12 of the first and second connectors. The insulating housing 2, 12 contain supports 4, 14, anchors (fixed section) 7, 17, and collars 8, 18. Shields 10, 11 are arranged in the insulating housings 2, 12. Filter elements 34 (chip-like capacitors) are arranged between the collars 8, 18 and pressure connection base sections 28 in contact with shields 10, 11. A small-sized, high-density filter connector can be formed without largely changing a conventional connector, and it can withstand a large surge voltage of about 2500V. |
