PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such an extrusion application method as being capable of smoothly applying electrode material coating liquid onto the surface of a conductive support. SOLUTION: In an extrusion applicator 9 used for this method, electrode material coating liquid is continuously discharged from the end of a slot 7 opposed to the surface of a continuously running conductive support 2 to be applied to the surface of the conducive support 2. The electrode material coating liquid is more supplied from a supply port 10 into a liquid reservoir 8 communicating with the slot 7 than applied onto the support 2, and part of the electrode material coating liquid in the liquid reservoir 8 is forcibly removed from a drainage port 11 farthest from the supply position of the liquid reservoir 8 to the cross direction of the support 2. |
