FIELD: small arms. SUBSTANCE: barrel with fore end for small arms has tube 1, sleeve 2 with sight ridge 4, and cantilever 6 with post 9 and fore end 11, cantilever 6 is positioned on the sleeve from below. The cantilever has chute 7 for tube 1. The outer surface of sleeve 2 is cylinder-shaped and has cone 3 in the front section; transition from sight ridge 4 to cone 3 is effected through reduction 5. Lower position of the cantilever on the sleeve and hinge-mounting of the post on the lower plane of the cantilever make it possible to disengage the direct coupling of the barrel to the hinge post and thus eliminate thermal drift of the barrel in the process of fire.
