FIELD: ballasting main pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: weighting material is made in form of U-shaped member with concave curvilinear or broken upper face. Side surfaces which are in contact with pipe line are cylindrical crossing surfaces. Description gives relationship between height and width of weighting material for different diameters of pipe lines.
