SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of consumption of blast and gaseous fuel by blast furnace, consumption of gaseous fuel by each tuyere, regulation of consumption of gaseous fuel by each tuyere, variation of pressure of gaseous fuel in supplying pipelines of each tuyere, calculation, depending on variation of gaseous fuel pressure, of blast pressure and its consumption by each tuyere and regulation of consumption of gaseous fuel by each tuyere depending on its blast consumption. EFFECT: reduced circumferential nonuniformity of distribution of gas flow in furnace hearth, higher stability of pig iron composition and heating, decreased fuel consumption for pig iron due to regulation of consumption of gaseous fuel depending on consumption of blast by tuyeres. 1 tblo
