FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: connector has two jaws with chutes for wire connected by bolts. Each jaw is provided with slot for wire. Depth of slot does not exceed two thirds of wire radius. Slot is provided with alternating projections and cavities directed square to axis of wire to be connected. In area of location of current-carrying dropper, one of jaws is provided with recess and other jaw has projection for mating with recess when end piece of current-carrying dropper is placed in recess. End piece is deformed when jaws are brought together. EFFECT: simplified construction of building, reduced labour input in fastening of current carrying dropper, reduced metal usage, increased reliability of electric contact between connector body and wires, reduced heating of connector, improved heat transfer. 5 dwga
