FIELD: fixation of osteal fragments. SUBSTANCE: device has a plate for installation in longitudinal slot of osteal fragments and springing tubes for connection to osteal fragments. The tubes are positioned on both sides of the plate opposite edges and connected to them. The tube wall has a slit located in tube longitudinal axis for clamping-unclamping of its walls in tube lateral axis. The method consists in making of a longitudinal slot and holes in osteal fragments, and introduction of plate in the longitudinal slot. The holes are made on the opposite edges of the longitudinal slot by means of a T-shaped jig; to this end, the vertical section of the T-shaped jig is introduced in the longitudinal slot, with the guide holes being in the horizontal section. The holes are made in such a manner that the longitudinal slot would pass through the wall of the hole in the osteal fragment. Plate attachment at its introduction in the longitudinal slot is accomplished by insertion of springing fasteners in the holes, connected to the plate, which at installation in the holes are clamped. EFFECT: prevented resorption and periosteum, enhanced accuracy of fixation of osteal fragments and reduced pressure on them. 10 cl, 8 dwgc
