FIELD: mechanical engineering; camera cranes mounted on different carriers such as trucks, vessels, etc. SUBSTANCE: remote-controlled gyro-stabilized camera crane has boom mounted on vertical post for vertical turning and coupled with vertical drive of boom. Boom has inner part made for turning along boom axis and coupled with drive of boom inner part. Vertical post installed on base for horizontal turning is coupled with drive of vertical post. Hinge member for mounting cine and television cameras is secured on end of boom inner part for turning around axis of hinge member hanger square to boom axis and is coupled with hinge member drive by means of parallelogram-type mechanism. Boom vertical drive, boom inner part drive and hinge member drive, all playing the part of counterweight, are secured in tail portion of boom. Control panel is provided. All construction members of crane are gyro- stabilized. Movement of crane boom, camera and load on carrier do not depend on carrier vibrations. Orientation of hinge member provides horizontal image at any tilt head. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 1 dwgi
