FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: inlay has central part bilaterally provided with side members. The central part and each of the side members have operation surfaces. The operation surface have concave shape uniformly reducing the inlay thickness when moving from the central part towards its boundary. The proposed inlay structure enables greater width of sunken zone at the amotio retinae focus provided the same depth of pressing to be achieved, that is, to widen the sunken zone area and to reduce circumferential length of eyeball layers at the place amotio retinae occurred and to provide tighter adherence of the retina due to smoothing deep lateral pockets formable than it is the case when conventional inlay be applied. Rupture of retina being the case, the proposed inlay is to be placed at the ruptured place and attached to sclera by putting-in two U-shaped sutures.
