FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: grinding wheel is used for grinding of blanks made of different materials in diamond and boron nitride grinding wheels with inclined slots made on operating surface. Slots are filled with stiff grease in process of their manufacture. Slots are of dovetail shape in cross-section with slope of side surfaces of slot to its base surface equals to 80-85 deg.
