The folding articulated-jib crane, partic. a floating crane, has a derricking mechanism acting on the jib, and a separate tie-rope, multi-part if necessary, coupling the hoist block to the jib derricking gantry. By means of this the traction jib, secured to the main jib after detachment from the gantry, the derricked-in fly jib, and the main jib are lowered as a unit by the hoist mechanism by derricking on the main jib foot bearing. The derricking mechanism (11) is detachable in order to fold the jib and for this operation the tie rope (55) is secured to a point (10) on the gantry (5). The fly jib (8) is derricked in until it comes up against a stop (28) on the main jib (7) determining its position. A link (27) is attached between traction (9) and main jibs, to secure the fly jib in this position. |
