This device is designed primarily to be connected to a fishing line and to serve as a float and/or ballast and/or a baiter for throwing or presenting bait. It consists of a tubular element (1), which is hollow and open at both ends. It is formed as a part, which has a constant cross-sectional area, with one extremity (2), ending with an open neck (4). The uniform section contains an internal piston (5), which is designed to slide within the tubular body and is pierced axially (6) and fitted to a central rod (7), which may be hollow and which is longer than the length of the tubular body. A solid element (8) also has a central axial piercing (9) and also fits over the rod and is designed to penetrate either wholly or partially into the tubular body.
