Constant current horizontal scan generator

A power supply circuit (101) provides a variable voltage (VS) to a scan generator circuit (102) for generating a horizontal deflection current (IH) for a horizontal deflection coil (103) of a cathode-ray tube. The circuit (101) senses the peak-to-peak amplitude of the horizontal deflection current (IH) and adjusts the magnitude of the voltage (VS) applied to the scan generator circuit (102) to maintain the horizontal deflection current (IH) at a substantially constant peak-to-peak amplitude.
