Sealed connection unit for fibre optic cables

The sealed connection unit has an upper and lower outer cover (1i,1s) with front and rear holes for a connector piece. The connector pieces have slots (32) with inner hole sections allowing the fibre optic cables to be threaded through. An outer clamp (4) is tightened by an outer threaded screw action, clamping and sealing the cables in place. The cables are joined in an inner central area.
