The inner and outer diameters of a caulking (3) for preventing a ball (1) in the tip of a pen from coming off, the dimensions of a sealing surface (8) and a ball protrusion, the diameter of a ball seat (16) and the vertical allowance are determined optimally. The sealing surface (8) has almost the same radius as the radius of the ball (1). The seat (16) which has almost the same radius as the radius of the ball (1) is provided behind the ball (1). A plurality of channels (4) through which ink (13) is supplied to the tip of the pen are provided inside the pen.
