Substd 2-ureido-and 2-thioureido-pyrrolines having hyppoglycaemic and antidiabetic activity. N3A. Are of formula (I): (where R'=Ph, lower alkyl, lower O-alkyl, or halophenyl; R2 = Ph lower alkyl, lower O-alkyl, halophenyl, lower cycloalkyl, or lower cycloalkenyl; R3-R6 = H or lower alkyl; R7 = H, lower alkyl, lower carbalkoxy-, lower alkyl, (lower alkyl)2N-lower alkyl-, lower alkoxy-, lower alkyl, or lower alkoxyphenyl; and X = O or S) and are prepared by isomerisation of compounds (II) by heating in a solvent. Also included are the tautomers and acid addn. salts of (I).
