The vehicle has a latent heat storage (L) and a continuous heating unit (ST), in the stowage compartment provided in front of the drive chamber (262) arranged at the rear. Also the continuous heating unit (ST) is equipped with a pump (Pst) and an auxiliary battery (B) for the electric supply of the inside heater for the occupants and the unit provided for the automatic heating of the latent heat storage are accommodated in this compartment. The structural height of the cases (C) limiting the top side of the storage compartment is determined by a housing. With a vehicle with rear seats it is necessary to have location of a protective bracket. On the raised floor inside the stowage compartment outside the occupant space of the air shaft is provided the fixing of the heating body (RH). A drive unit is fixed for the diverter (896), located on, and able to swivel about, a horizontal transverse axis at the outer walls of the air shaft.
