The machine consists of a packaging paper supply line 1 on which a stamping tool 2 actuated by a piston 3 acts in order to form, on the packaging paper, the openings of various bags, whilst, downstream, there is another piston 21 for delivering each label 7 to the corresponding stamping of the packaging paper 1, the labels 7 being supplied by a feed roll 6, secured via their adhesive to a backing band 8 which, at a point on its travel close to the area of deposition of the labels, undergoes total folding-back, with the collaboration of a deflector plate 20, in such a manner that, during said folding-back, the labels are detached. The backing strip is entrained by a traction roller 16 after the labels have been deposited and it is taken up on a roller or drum 23 which, like the traction roller 16, is actuated by a pulse motor controlled by a photoelectric cell 12 on the basis of signals existing in the packaging paper 1. <IMAGE>
