Sealing ring between two coaxial interfitting surfaces

The sealing ring is for sealing the space between two coaxial surfaces particularly the annular gap between a sleeve and the shaft-end of a pipe connection. The sealing-ring consists of a first (2) and second (4) part. The two sealing ring parts (2,4) are joined by a connection (6). The second seal-part (4) consists of a thin sliding-skin. The parts of the seal have sliding surfaces (8,10).
