摘要 A method of producing a composite material product made of a wood fiber type filler and an olefinic plastic as main components and having high rigidity and high heat deformation temperature characteristics comprises adding, to a blend composition consisting of a wood fiber type filler pulverized into a predetermined size, granular olefinic plastics and a rigidity improving agent comprising maleic anhydride denatured polypropylene or its derivative as a main component, a pre-calculated amount of calcium oxide so that the moisture content of the wood fiber type filler becomes finally 2 to 5 % (weight %), and molding the blend composition containing calcium oxide so added by a molding machine. The maleic anhydride denatured polypropylene has a high degree of maleic anhydride denaturation and a low molecular weight.
