In a sack trolley (1) with a chassis (2), the loading shovel (4) is fitted to a carriage (3, 22), which, in order to lift the load (5), can move along the chassis (2), and be stopped at a certain height. At the bottom end of the sack trolley there is, on the one side, a stationary foot (10) with a rotary table, and, on the other side, a support wheel (12), on which the sack trolley (1) rests on the ground when in vertical position. After the carriage (3, 22) has moved upwards with the load on the chassis (2), the load can be deposited on a higher platform (30) by pivoting the sack trolley around the stationary foot (10).
