Heat exchanger for environmental chamber

The heat exchanger has the coolant passed through coils (38) inside the environmental chamber to cool the air or gas in that chamber. The coolant is fed into one end of the coil by an inner pipe (46) and vaporises before leaving the end of the inner pipe. The vapour travels back in a reverse flow between the two pipes and cools the outer pipe without causing condensation. The inner pipe can be a straight section for the first part of the cooling coil or can be threaded coaxial through the whole length of the coil. For heating the chamber the same coil layout is used to pump warm fluid around the coil.
