<p>Ground yttrium oxide produced by second thermal treatment (pre-fritting) of oxide obtained by decomposition of a pure yttrium salt decomposable at below 1000 degrees C, such as oxalate or carbonate, is pressure-moulded at leat 3 kilobars and fritted in air at 1550 degrees C. Specifically the pre-frittting may be at 1200 degrees C.</p> |
