The alarm system for motor vehicles comprises an electromechanical equipment housed in a removable box which comprises a printed circuit board with its security code generator, a set of one or a plurality of rattlers, warning lights and push-buttons, so that the combination of the three push-buttons generates three distinct orders to a central module which are: inactivity, initiating a sequence of a series of warnings, or inversion of the circuit so that the contact with the steering wheel initiates an other series of programmed warnings. The system is easily repairable and portable, making it easy to use.
