The cellar wall is prepared by placing in position prefabricated ferro concrete panels, each with a support base flange and with butting edges. After assembling an inner shuttering, concrete is poured into the space to form a complete cellar wall. The sections can have cut outs for windows and have a ribbed support design. The excavation need only be large enough to position the sections by crane, i.e. no space is required outside the cellar wall to assemble outer shuttering. The poured concrete seals the spaces between the sections.
