In order to control the flow of body fluid, which generally occurs on the fluid-permeable topsheet for body fluid-absorbing articles, in a predetermined direction, an improved fluid-permeable topsheet is proposed here, which is made of thermoplastic and comprises a number of ribs running in a first direction and a number of ribs which run in a second direction and cross the ribs running in the first direction, in such a way as to form a unique rib structure. The upper sides 7 of the ribs 3 running in the second direction are connected to the opposite sides 6 of the respective ribs 2 running in the first direction, and in each case two adjacent ribs 2 running in the first direction form a channel 10 which is used for conducting the body fluid in the predetermined direction. <IMAGE> |
