Metal reinforced plastic profiles

Compact or foamed plastic profiles are extruded and a metal reinforcement is embedded between at least two plastic profiles which emerge continuously from the extruder. These sections are welded together to from the profile. The reinforcing metal component can be a wire which is continuously drawn from a reel. The reinforcement can also be a metal strip or a profile.
