PROCESS FOR PRODUCING CASTINGS CAST AS ONE WHOLE WITH A POSSIBILITY OF CONTROLLED CHANGES OF COMPACTED GRAPHITIC CAST IRON AND CAST IRON

A method for manufacturing cast products which are cast as a one-piece structure having controlled inhomogeneous graphite structure. The products can be cast in a manner to obtain, for instance, a flakey grey cast iron structure in certain parts thereof, and a compacted graphite structure in other parts thereof, therewith imparting to the cast product different properties in different parts of said product.
