The rotary dryer consists of a horizontal or vertical; round or spiral-shaped chamber. The dryer incorporates a tangential hot-gas feed, and an outlet for the gaseous-raw material mix, at the end of the chamber removed from the raw-material in-take. A disc with an exit orifice is provided at the end of the chamber, and can be positioned eccentrically to the dyer axis. |
