The drive has a first drive holder on a restricting element at the side of the door opening and a second drive holder on the door. The drive holders (13,22) have plate or strip-type sections (18,25) which have several fixing points (20,26) for the coupling elements (29,31) which connect the holders to the motorised drive device.The fixing points each have different spacing from the attachment point of the relevant drive holder on the restricting element and door. At least one of the drive holders has an adjustor which changes the spacing between the drive holders.
