Syringa Vulgaris or Syringa Prestoniae can be used for the cutting, growth taking place over one year. A sack with a lump of earth, or gauze, can be used instead of a pot. The variety used for the cutting can be Madame Florent Stepman, Marie Legraye, Lavalensis, Andenken an Ludwig Spaeth, Hugo de vries, Hugo Koster or Ruhm von Horstenstein. Grafting can be carried out under a lip, or by insertion. Branches can be taken off the graft, preferably carrying blossom or flowers. |
