PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which can be assembled easily. SOLUTION: This one-way clutch 10, which is disposed between two rotating members 11, 12 at its inside and outside in a diametral direction and switches to either of conditions where power is transmitted and blocked between both the rotating members 11, 12, is provided with a retainer 14 which involves a pocket 18 for storing a plurality of rollers 15 and an elastic member 16 which presses the roller 15 to a roller locking side. In the retainer 14, the circumferential width W of the outer-diametral opening of the pocket 18 is set so as to be smaller than the diameter R of the roller, and set so that outer-diametral opening parts 20, 21 of the pocket 18 may deflect to the inside of the pocket. By forming into such a structure as the roller 15 is prevented from getting removed out of the outer-diametral opening of the pocket 18, it is possible to assemble the roller 15 into the pocket 18 from the outer-diametral side in the diametral direction. |
