PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of electric defect occurring in electrode for electrodeposition by packing a colored resin coating material electrodeposited only on the limited conductive layer into pixel region to form uniform film. SOLUTION: A photomask is placed on a positive type photosensitive resin compsn. 3 and is exposed to make the photoresist compsn. layer of the exposed parts elutable. The photoresist compsn. layer is eluted with a prescribed eluent to obtain a patterned substrate. The substrate is immersed into an electrodeposition bath contg. a first electrodeposition coating materials. Light shieldable conductive layers 2 are energized and the first colored coating material 4 is applied on the light shieldable conductive films by electrodeposition. Next, the first colored coating material 4 is heated and is made to flow by utilizing its flow property or the coating material is pressed by a roll, by which the colored coating material is packed into the colored pixel parts to make the films more uniform. The first colored pixels 5 are thus obtd. Next, the photomask is placed on the photosensitive resin layer 3 and is exposed to make the photosensitive resin compsn. layer of the exposed parts elutable. The compsn. layer is eluted with a prescribed developer, thereby, the pattered substrate exposed with the pixel regions and part of the light shieldable conductive layers enclosing the same is obtd. |
