PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic half-open hinge at low cost and smoothly operate it by integrally providing magnets with their same magnetic poles opposed to each other so as to repel each other and automatically opening to a half-opened state by the repulsion. SOLUTION: A half-open hinge T is provided with a hinge shaft 1, left/right two fitting plates 4, 5 whose shaft cylinder parts 2, 3 are loosely engaged with the hinge shaft 1 so as to be opened/closed freely, and magnets 6, 7 integrally embedded in the fitting plates. In this case, the left/right magnets 6, 7 are provided in joint faces 4', 5' sides which approach to each other, when the fitting plates 4, 5 are closed, in such a state that the same magnetic poles are opposed to each other so as to repel each other. This constitution simplifies a structure so as to facilitate manufacture, provides the hinge at low cost, and effectively exerts buffer action. |
